🗺 Map View

Keep up with the project location with the Map View feature. Here you can create multiple locations with custom fields, categorize Todos with tags, drag & drop pins are can come in handy when you need to quickly change an address 😉. Design for you to manage different team member projects at multiple locations right under Blue. 

Map Views will make your project much more visually appealing and increase efficiency on Blue. 🙌

🛠How Map Views Work 

Location Custom Field 📍

• Create

Create a location custom field by going to Todo, and select "Add custom field", scroll down and click on  "Location". 

Multiple 😉

You can also create multiple locations within a Todo, so you won't have to add several todos on the list. The Todos will show a different pinned location on Map View but under the same Todos with the same name. 

Example

In case you're running multiple branches of your service. Sometimes it is difficult to see all the locations listed at once; you can add more custom fields 'Location' under a Todo. When you go to your Map View, you can see the multiple locations listed on the view.

Search 🕵️♀️

If you want to look for an address, you can manually fill in the blank location field! 

Current location 📌

For a quicker way to pin the current location you’re at, click on the location icon! It will automatically pinpoint the location. 

Minimap 🗺

Once you’ve added your location, you can see it on the minimap right under the custom field. 

• Draggable pin 😼

Lastly, the location pinned is draggable. You can drag and drop on a location that you want, and it will update in real-time. 

🌈 Adaptive Pins 

You can use tags to determine the color of the pinned location. In Map Views, the colors can differentiate the locations, which is easier for you to see. We often use tag colors for multiple companies or branches. Example: Say you want your store branch divided from headquarter, you can differentiate by tag colors so when you're on Map view, you have clearer visibility. 

🏃♂️ Quick Filters

• 🙇 Assignees 

In Map View, you can choose to view other tasks on the project by clicking on their name on the Todo. It will only show their tasks until you remove the filter. 

•  🏷 Tags

Not only that, but you can also filter tags by just clicking on tags you want, and it will pop up only the tags you want to see. 

Dark Mode 🌃

Another feature that we think you will love for Map Views is to see it in Dark Mode. The color blends seamlessly, and it will take you Blue on another level for you! See for yourself. 

🔎 Map Navigation 

• Shift+drag to zoom into any location you want! 
• Map Control bar, the little three icons on the lower right corner, will help you navigate throughout the view. If you’re lost, select the location icon and it will take you back to your current location. Use ‘+’ or ‘-’ to zoom in, and out on Mapview. 🧐

😎 [Enterprise] Company Map View  

Companies with an enterprise license can set up their company map view to combine multiple project maps under a single tab.

To set up the company map view, follow these steps:

1. Go to the company settings.
2. Under the information settings, scroll down to find the company map view.
3. Click the green button to activate the company map view.

🛠 How to Use the Company Map View

To use the company map view, click on the company map view tab. From there, you can filter the view by:

• Projects
• Completed/Incomplete/All to-dos
• Assignees
• Tags
• Due date

Q: What if we want to mark the same location but with a different name? 

A: Easy! You can click on the pin, and it will show you a list of the different todo's names that fall under the same location. 

Q: Can I still see my pin if I am marked complete? 

• A. Yes! You can hide/show completion according to your view. If you show completed, you can still see your pinned address.
