Effortlessly create, edit and collaborate on Blue docs with your team!
Docs allow you to create countless documents for multiple purposes, build a contract, meeting notes, and research papers the usability is endless. Docs is auto-saved so it saves you a couple more clicks, and it is packed with editor tools for you to fully customize the look of your documents.
🛠 How do docs work?
Blue docs is essentially a word document that you can edit, and collaborate directly on Blue. You can create multiple different documents under one tab and easily access them from your project. With real-time updates throughout the docs, you can your team and start planning and executing your big ideas.
🥇 Create Your First Docs
- Go to your project, and you will find the docs tab between updates and files. Now click on the "create docs" button
- Enter your docs name and press enter on your keyboard. This will generate a blank page for your first document on Blue.
✍️ Editor Tool
When you open your first docs, instantly, you will see the editor tool which allows you to edit the docs however you want.
- Attach files/media
- Bullet points
- Indent and Outdent
These tools will allow you to customize and write away your thoughts, and ideas fully, and build an outline for your paper.
👀 If you notice while typing on your docs, you will see the "slash command" action.
Type on your keyboard "/" to see the editor tool command, from there you can quickly edit your text to bold, italic, add bullet points @mention people, todos, and more. This will allow you to quickly type in your docs without clicking any button.
- Anyone in the project can edit the docs except for comment and view-only access.
- If you see a team member profile icon on the right side of the docs that indicates that the person is viewing/editing the docs with you.
- Tab on their icon to instantly take you to where they are on the docs.
- While editing on the docs, you can also see your team member's cursor.
🧑💻 Work with Docs
With project docs, you can easily refer to the todo by using the "@@" symbol to mention todos, this way your team members know exactly what todo you're referring to!
Once you've mentioned a todo, it will be linked and highlighted for you to instantly click for the todo to pop up, allowing you the easiest access to edit or add any notes.
🗃 Attach Files/Images on Docs
Project docs allow you to easily attach files by dragging and dropping or using the command "/attachment" option to upload files to text.
➕ Add more docs
You can create as many documents as you want on the Blue project, and there's no limit to how many documents you can create.
Click on the docs tab and this will take you back to the creation page, continue to create more docs by clicking on the "Create Docs" button. From there you can create multiple documents that are suitable for your project.
